Racial Disparities in Today's Economy

Racial Disparities in Today’s Economy

+ The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston

This design project involved creating a brand identity for the Boston Fed’s 64th Economic Conference, Racial Disparities in Today’s Economy. The conference focused on the persistent and sizable racial disparities, highlighting issues such as housing and wealth, educational attainment, labor markets, and criminal justice within the US economy. The visual identity for the conference represents each issue on different levels, effectively illustrating the hierarchy of disparity. The graphic captures the complexity and depth of these issues, aligning with the conference’s focus.

The conference was entirely remote and participants were only able to join via live stream. The design package included live stream production graphics for session transitions, technical difficulties, and lower thirds. Social media promotions featured session graphics depicting the panelists, effectively building engagement for the conference, fostering an inclusive virtual presence across online platforms.
